The GURPS character sheet may be found here.
For approval, you will be required to indicate your name, description, race, a rough idea of a personality and background, as well as ST, DX, IQ and HT and a draft of skills, advantages, disadvantages and quirks.
Humans start with 10 ST, DX, IQ and HT. This is considered default unless otherwise specified.
Dwarves have an additional +2 ST and +1 HT, with No Jumping, +1 Damage Resistance and 2 levels of Extended Lifespan. They automatically know Axe skill at DX +2 and will have a racial bonus of +2 with any skill involving metal (eg. blacksmithing, jewel-crafting, engineering, prospecting).
They have the disadvantages Dwarvish Greed* (-15), Intolerance of Trolls (-5) and Literal-Minded (-10), along with the Quirks Aggressive While Drunk, Proud of Beards, Consider Gender A Private Matter and Can't Run Long Distances (all -1). They do not suffer a reduced move rate, but cannot keep speed over long distances.
Gnomes and Nac Mac Feegle have -2 ST, +2 DX, -5 HT, -2 IQ (male) or +2 IQ (female), +3 Fatigue, Decreased Life Support (10) and +1 Passive Defence. They also have +3 to Camouflage and +1 to Stealth.
Disadvantages are Inconvenient Size (-15), Reduced Move (-10) and Short Arms (-10), along with the Quirk of Mild Paranoia (-1).
Trolls have +12 ST, +2 HT, -4 IQ, along with 4 levels of Body of Stone , +2 Damage Resistance, one level of Extended Lifespan, Extra Encumbrance (5), High Pain Threshold (10), 2 levels of Increased Density, Longevity (5), Night Vision (10) and 4 levels of Temperature Tolerance (with the exception of the effects of Troll Brain). They automatically know Brawling at DX +1.
Disadvantages include Fully Illiterate (-5), Hitting People With Rocks (-5), Intolerance of Dwarves (-5), Troll Brain** (-10), Ugly Appearance (-1), with the Quirks Innumerate, Put Everything In Terms of Rocks, Think that Time Runs Backwards and Regard Brawls as Basic Social Relationship (all -1).
Any other race may be discussed with admin.
Watchmen, by default, will have DX + 1 in swords and/or truncheons. All PCs will be watchmen unless otherwise approved by admin.
Keep in mind that number of points vary from 25 (Pawns of the Lady) to 300 (Small Gods and Large Heroes). There is no current limit to where your characters may sit on this scale, though any unthematically built-up characters will not pass approval. With this in mind, feel free to create your characters.
*They are specifically hungry for gold, not necessarily other material possessions. Characters with Dwarvish Greed also only gain -5 in Miserliness instead of the usual -10.
**A troll's IQ represents the troll's IQ on an average evening in Ankh-Morpork. During fair-to-warm weather, the troll loses one IQ point. In temperatures a human would call 'hot', the reduction is -2. Scorching, tropical heat is -3 and the middle of the desert is -5. If IQ reaches 4, it can do little more than grunt and hit back. DX is reduced by 4. At IQ 1, the troll will lose consciousness and "turn to stone". Conversely, cold weather gives them +1 IQ, sub-zero is worth +2 and a howling blizzard +3 or more. Cold so severe as to cause damage to the troll will induce genius-level insight into the nature of the universe.
